Man dies under wheels of train in Kishoreganj

A man died after being hit by a train in Kishoreganj this morning.
The identity of the deceased, presumed to be around 65, could not be known, said police.
The incident took place around 11:30am at Fakir Bari Rail Crossing in Mohinanda union of Sadar upazila.
Witnesses said the Nasirabad Express local train leaving Mymensingh for Kishoreganj. When it reached the Fakir Bari railway crossing, the unidentified person who was walking on the railway tracks got run over by the train. He died on the spot.
They said despite the whistle, the man did not move and locals rushed to the spot and found him dead.
They informed police after the incident.
Sub-Inspector Harun Or Rashid of Kishoreganj Railway Police Station said the body was recovered from the spot after receiving information.
However, his identity has not yet been found.
Police are trying to identify the victim.
